If you haven't done it already, check out this guide on how to get your Plane of Time Key before heading over to the Plane of Time.

Once inside, you will see the Scion of Time and 5 NPCs representing 5 Elements. Each one, when hailed, will spawn an unstable elemental. When you hail the unstable elemental, it begins the trial for that particular element. Each trial has several waves of adds, and a mini boss. The waves of adds usually spawn after 1 minute, and spawn 10 or so adds each wave. The mini bosses do not have any mechanics, and drop an elemental essence upon death. Hand each elemental essence to the Keepers outside of the trials (IE: Fire Essence to the Keeper outside of the Fire trial), and you will become flagged for the next area. Talk to the Scion in order to advance to the next area.

Once inside the next area, you will once again see a Time NPC. Hail him, and he will come up with a riddle, some of which are a bit cryptic and may be hard to answer. He spawns 5 answers around the room; You must say "you are the answer" to the correct NPC. If you get it wrong, he will depop and you'll have to do the trials again, so please be careful! If you get it right, he will spawn 4 NPCs at the top of the steps. Each one of them drops an item that you will need to hand to the Time NPC in order to move on to the next area. After handing all 4 in, he will ask you to hail him again to move on.

In the third area, you'll have to kill 4 Gods. Each one can drop loot as well as a Piece of Latin Armor, which is the template / mold used for Tier 3 Armor. Keep any of these you find, as you'll need them! They also drop a few pieces of loot. After killing all 4 Gods, you will be able to move to the next area, which has 4 more Gods, before moving to the next area once again, which finally houses Quarm.

Quarm can be a bit nasty for newer players. He will immediately try to go after your healers when he spawns, and you will need to try and grab snap aggro when he spawns. He hits fairly hard and fast, has a healthy amount of HP, and drops his skull, which is needed for the IOG 2.0.
